“I love you so much, baby. I am going to miss you forever”. Maddi said.
Harvey’s mother said “'If I'd have known (where he was going) I wouldn't have let him due to the winter weather conditions.
The mother was unaware of the whereabouts of their trip and concluded that her son was staying at a friend’s grandfather’s place.
Local MP, Liz Saville Roberts said “This news is truly heartbreaking and foremost as parents ourselves, our thoughts go out to the families and friends of the four young men whose lives have been lost in this tragic accident”.
North Wales Police said, “The car had left the 'windy, narrow and steep' road, flipped onto its roof and was partially covered in water following what appeared to be a 'tragic accident”.
“This has been an extensive search involving a number of different agencies and volunteers, and this is sadly not the outcome that any of us would have wanted.”
The Police are investigating the cause of the accident however is suspected to be due to the ‘atrocious weather’.
With the new information emerging it was understood that the boys were not experienced campers as only a tent and sleeping bags were recovered from the vehicle.
